We only collect personal information that is essential to our operation as a business, and which allows us to fulfil our obligations to our customers, provide good customer service, and maintain our records and accounts.
To fulfil our contract with you it’s sometimes necessary for third party providers to have access toyour data so that they can perform services on our behalf e.g. WordPress (web content management system) and Woocommerce (merchandising WordPress plugin), Paypal and Amazon (processing card payments to us), Amazon Marketplace UK and Amazon.co.uk (for sales).
Any debit or credit card details which we receive when payments are made are passed securely to the processor (PayPal or Amazon). We do not store card details ourselves. We will keep your personal information (e.g. name and postal address) for as long as is required to comply with any statutory minimum periods e.g. for HM Revenue & Customs and for enabling us to deal with any questions or complaints.
If you follow Gottahavebooks on WordPress, your WordPress profile name or your email address (depending on how you choose to follow us) is stored by WordPress in the Followers/Email Followers section of our admin. We do not export any of this information, or share it, or use it for any purpose.
If you use the contact form to get in touch with us, the data you share, including your email address will be shared with our email provider, TSO host.

While we try to link only to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by other sites.
